A baby boy is born

I ordered my G-Force back in late July last year. It was a difficulty pregnancy but on Friday my 350kg baby boy was born...

Thanks to Rob for the work in the delivery room, positioning him on the trailer, the wife for approving the finances to get to this point and my brother in-law for the trailer.

No names have been chosen yet.

Congratulations, I know everything usually looks better on a computer screen, but the gaps and finish of your boy look great.

Regards.

Congratulations, that has been a long time in the making.

Should be pretty quick to get it rolling as you have had all that time to get the suspension ready.

The body certainly looks a lot smoother than my kit as you will see if you make it over here in July.

Have fun!

Well done to both Dad and Mum.

Now the fun begins, we expect plenty of growing up pictures.

Thanks guys, yes there will be plenty of pics coming up...

Yes Liam you'd think the suspension would have all been sorted out by now but alas life got in the way. But now there is no excuses!

I hope your cars body was wet in the photo, otherwise the gelcoat finish on mine sucked!

jcraigau 04-26-2010 05:05 AM

Sorry Gav, that's how it pops out of the mold. I was told not to get it wet!

It has a habbit of doing that. It took me over 6 months to get my suspension all sorted out.

Should come together pretty quickly if the chassis is half decent. I spent the long weekend cutting apart and rebuilding part of my chassis as it was so far out that the body wouldnt even bolt on. I have finally got it right now. Lots of people told me RCM kits need a hell of a lot of work and they were right!

Have you shorterned your rear end yet?

jcraigau 04-26-2010 06:05 AM

Yep, got it delivered as part of the chassis.

Cut down fulcrum's and brand new prop shafts and trailing arms.
Just looking at my options on diffs. $2600 is a lot for a recon LSD...
