Soft Top Hood finished.
Here are some pics of my Soft Top Hood. The Side Curtains and Tonneau Cover is still to come. The hood is constructed from a Mercedes material in a silver colour to match the colour of the body striping.

Really bluddy nice Baz.
I sure like the light tan upholstery and top. Now, go and ruffle a few bureaucrats feathers and get it registered. |

What selection in colours does the Mercedes cloth offer? The wife and I are contemplating what colour we should go with to minimise the number of colours on the car. Yours looks good. Cheers |
Very good Baz. Keeping u busy! Good side visibility. Looks similar to mine. Merv

I increased the height of the rear Bow Kit stay by about 3 inches to give me a bit more head room inside and provide for a more squarer roof line on the outside. It was a bit of a gamble as far as what the final appearance would look like, but I'm quite happy in how it turned out. |

My 34 year old daughter Louise has a really rare Chromosone abnormality known as 'Partial Monosime 9p'. I google her condition regulalrly to try and find out a prognosis so we know what to expect. Unfortunately, they didn't start documenting her condition until 1985 at which time, she was 10. When she was born, there were only 5 known cases in the world. She is now one of the eldest survivors. I had a look at the USA the other day which has a population of 380 million. There are 26 known cases in that country so you can see how rare it is. Only God knows what my good wife Martha and I have been through since she was born, but we are hanging in there. My biggest fear relates to what is going to happen to her when we move on. It worries me to death. The great thing about Louise is that she loves Cobras, just like me. I want to get this thing on the road so I can enjoy her with me before they put me down. I only hope that I have a few years left in which to do that. A PM is in your box. Baz |
Baz, I sympathize mate, you and Martha keep your chins up and plan to live a lot longer.
Louise is going to have the time of her life riding around with you. |
