Any pointers for fitting the steering column?

Hi All,

I am currently trying to get my steering column and pedals in. I am having a lot of trouble getting everything to fit without the steering wheel being almost vertical (which doesnt feel right).

I am using wilwood reverse swing pedals with balance bar (clutch and brake). I am at a point where i either need to mount it where it is and lower the floor between the chassis rails by about 50mm. Or completely modify the Wilwood pedals so they wrap around the column.

Does anyone have any pointers for installing pedals and column? Has anyone lowered their floor down between the chassis rails.

Appreciate any comments or experiences people have had.

Cheers
Liam

Actually, i just figured it out. I had the 'ah ha' moment. I was trying to mount the pedals way too low.

Still, is there any thing to look out for with steering wheel position? Looking at photo's there is a lot of variation.
