I have been looking at tyres by size recently as I have had to replace the two rears.
I have noticed (after placing the order - doh) that there are a number of SUV tires that would fit the bill.
The 'muscle car' tyres like BFG/Firestone are typically of a lower speed rating [S, T] and have a UTQG rating of 450+ (hard) whereas you can get some (apparently) softer compounds for SUVs with higher speed ratings [H, W] notices some silica (?) tyres too.
I believe that a Vic Club member is getting some Toyo SUV tyres in 295/50/15 (?)
I think I would like to eyeball a few and see how he goes but I have a strong suspicion that that's where the next set of daily drivers will come from.
