check out google today

Google have a pacman logo up today to celebrate the 30 years of Pac Man.

I just discovered you can actually play it. Good rainy day fun! Check it out.

I found that earlier today too. It's cool but unfortunately there's only one level.

I remember when PacMan came out.

As a teenager I used to be a regular at the local video arcade. I got talking to the owner and told him of my interest in electronics. He gave me a pile of old boards and parts. A couple of weeks later I had a working original space invaders machine spread all over the work bench at home. It was awesome! I also got a lunar lander board working too.

Later when I left school and was looking for my first real job I started building complete machines for a guy in the back of his TV repair shop. It didn't pay very well but at least I got to test play all the latest games as they came out.

Cheers

I'm a big fan of retro arcade games. You can still pickup old mortal kombat cabinets for a few hundred. I've got a low end PC inside mine, running an emulator with about 5000 games. There's nothing quite like nostalgia!

I used to like Frogger.

Once I have my man cave I would like a coffee table type old game machine.
