I paid what I considered top dollar at the time. I was simply naive Sideshow. The end product is now very workable, however I had to pay others as well as the the original supplier. My PCM came out of a Camaro.

camaro should still be ok

see every new holden ecu still comes from usa
so it has a usa base flash in it
this is ok but say u have an average aussie diagnostic scanner
well sometimes u have probs with overseas ecus

thats y we always convert the usa ecus to aussie vin numbers
and ive done some usa based ls1 engine harnesses and they are
bloody discusting
the aussie made ls1 harness looks so much nicer in std trim
there are more and more guys jumping on the band wagon and doing siumilar stuff to us
unfortunately i sound like an A holed on th ephone these days when ever someone asks for diagrams or info
i would say 70% of calls are for help me i tried to wire it myself and now im stuck well gets annoying after awhile so i just say bring it in now

Any recommendations for motor supplier? Reply to Thread

Keith Craft built me a nice engine in 2005, it was everything and more of what I asked, mind you it was a custom built engine which cost well over $20k. I have dynoed it here to do a bit of testing with inlet manifolds and the engine expert here said it ran through the revs as nice as any of his injected F5000 engines.
I have just realised this is my 1000 post and I still dont have my car going - oh well........!
