Interesting to say the least. I hope the new owner can transfer the rego or he does have a pissy 302 efi auto hanging around to get it through.

Looks like it might be on a crown chassis going by that steering box. All that power through a Commodore rear axle too. Me thinks this car will keep the new owner busy.

Good spotting Mike, it is a Crown chassis car.
I wonder if it is approved with the engine thet is fitted now?

I would advise any potential buyer to be very careful.

After all, the seller doesn't even know what car he is selling. He describes it as a " 2009 COBRA REPLICA DRB540"

I like it - none of that stoopid forward facing - wind-sock scoop kit - much better/faster with the subtle remolding of the hood.

I dont have any problem with the various re-body kits (seriously) - but at $98,500 I won't be qualifying as a

You can tell the serious Cobra connoisseur by stonking great cobra graphics plastered all over their car - saves having to be bothered with those pesky - 'What MG is that' questions :D

Horses for courses once again.

Hell of a motor though.

It really is amazing how many cobras are out there apart from those who are seen on the forum and clubs etc...

Heaps of guys just create there own thing and enjoy it that way which is fair enough...

Also really interesting how one makes a car to suit there own taste too. IMO the car doesn't do it for me BUT 500+ cubes sure does!!!! LOL

Agrred Spook, not my cup of tea, but it is what the owner saw in his head how he wanted his Cobra to be.
So good on him.

If we all built our cars to appease the mass market and thinking what it is worth when time to sell, they would all be Ford motors and blue with white stripes, not that there is anything at all wrong with that option.

Appologise, as they say, when you assume, it has made an A$$ out of U and ME (or in this case just me) :)

All sorts of things happen in Burpengary ... where this is. One has to wonder how on earth it was ever registered ... the seats ... the scoop ... the side pipes ... no doors. Someone has spent a massive amount of money on this and then almost immediately offered it for sale. Something not right there.
