540 Update - Another Step Closer
Visited the engineer Thursday, everything went well. Now I have to sit and wait about 3 months until it gets its final inspection by Qld Transport.

Great looking car. I take delivery of my 540 kit this week (chassis #34), and so I'm about to experience the highs and lows of building a kit car! As I progress I would appreciate so tips on the traps to avoid. I'm just down the road from you, so may try and contact you via Peter atDRB of via a pm, if that's ok with you. I have my eye on a fpv gt at auction this week, and hopefully the price will be reasonable, or I'll just have wait a little bit longer! Cheers. Chucky |

I cant make the Hope Island meet this week, but I will try for the next one. By the way, I managed to get then FPV vehicle as a donor today, damage is minor, with all of the running gear looking in good order. Luckily the engine turns out to be a rare boss 302! Cheers. Charles |
