Was going to oder this one: http://www.amazon.com/Hidden-Antenna...sr=1-1-catcorr

But the freight and handling was $71US with Amazon. Bought the same thing from another US supplier for the same price with less than $10.00 shipping by priority mail.

Hi Merv,
I have just fitted one of the tune trapper hidden aerials from the states in my cobra and at this stage it seems to work a treat.

Merv,
I used a "Stealth" aerial. It is a powered aerial probably similar to the one Stiffy used. From memory the module measures about 125mm x 30mm x 16mm with about 2.5mtrs of lead. Fitted behind the dash in the AC Cobra and in the windscreen pillar of the 540. Works OK on FM, have not tried it on AM. It cost about $35 from WOW Sight and Sound.

Warren

I have the same thing. It won't pick up AM either.

The one I have on order from the US says it will do both. Time will tell!

YES... it works from 40 feet away so in the trunk won't be a problem.
