Happy chappy
Another dark side Cobra roars to life!
I had problems with not enough power to the computer via the ignition switch so a few short cuts were taken to get it started. Who cares, after 3 yrs it's a very sweet sound to my ears. :3DSMILE: Thanks especially to Marty Govert and Justin (Sideshow wiring) for helping me with the tricky bits these last few weeks. Another month and it should be ready for a road test. :) |
Nice one Sambo!
That should have got the neighbour's attention. :3DSMILE: I've played it three times! |

It is a great moment when you have that first start! Ben |
Happy Chappy sums it up! That LS sounds sooooo smooth! Well done Paul.

Well Done Paul,
That smile on your face explains it. Luv your hi-tech on/off switch. They do sound great with just the headers on. Rgds Gregg |
Congratulations Paul
its good to hear another is breathing life. Also good to see you can walk around it in this shed cheers Doug |
Well done, I think we can all remember the rush of the first start up!
|
Great stuff Paul, I think the start up "startled" the camera operator.
|
Yeah I warned the better half but she still wasn't prepared.
Thanks to all. I've got a HD camera with roll bar mount ready to go, so there will be plenty of youtube goodness in the months to come. |
Sambo
SAMBO,
Great news, its the start of the end of the build....... well done Paul......... STIFFY |
Thanks Stiffy. It definitely feels that way now. :3DSMILE:
|
Glad it is all up and running :)
|
Congrats Paul on main engine start, can't wait to see the video of the launch
Cheers |
Well done,
and I reckon the tether kill switch is a perfect failsafe in case it falls off the stands and rolls away LOL. The first start up isn't always a winner, but the first real startup is memorable. |
My best mate getting his jollies yesterday. :JEKYLHYDE
|
Very happy!
Paul
When you take him for a spin on the road you will clearly need some plastic seat covers!! Sounds great. Well done. Geof |
