Toggle Switches

Looking for Toggle Switches Australian source supply Smiths or other for the usual Cobra Dash requirements but with a longer threaded body to penetrate the Harrison dash blank prefered.
Toggle Switch guards have seen advt, Car Builder Solution Price approx $12- ea, seems a bit rich.
Has members seen or sourced same locally Aus that is.

I used all Lucas switches Trevor. Some from Warwick at the time but others I bought myself. I did see these: http://stores.ebay.com.au/Classic-Bi...i.html?_fsub=8

Snake bite has them: http://www.snakebite.com.au/electric...sort=4a&page=1

All not cheap probably but I got the remainder of mine from Abingdon Motors in Fairfield/Dutton park Brisbane. They have been MG suppliers for 40 years and have all that stuff. Heritage MG in Melbourne have lots too and they are not that costly: http://www.mgspareparts.com.au/

I should add that if your dash blank is aluminium the thread length is not a problem but if wood ... it could be anything.

I used period correct lucas. Even with a fibreglass dash the treads arent long enough. I made up a bunch of little thin plates that I routed into the dash flush to mount the switches into.
