Harrison For Sale
Ok The time has come for the dreaded question.
If you were going to sell your cobra in Queensland what would be the method you would use. Where, how would you advertise it? It is engineered but not registered so is undrivable. I live in US so can not actually be present when tyre kickers want a joy ride. Thanks |
Put a decent price on the car to try and shield yourself from the Slappers.
I put a cheap give it away price (40k and have offered it to people for 38k and less) and all I have had is grief and Clowns, one almost wrote the car off. One made me get all the paper work only to never hear from him again. One Clown just wanted to drive the car because he had one years ago or some crap. Yada yada ya the list goes on. I am going to fix a few things on the Cobra (side pipes, white stripes and a few other small bits and pieces and jack the price up to 59k. I hate selling cars, it really is a PITA. |
Bruce - I wonder if Warwick would help you with this? Otherwise one of use could assist I am sure.

Does this mean you're not coming back anytime soon?
Selling it from abroad could be a challenge. If I was a buyer and I wanted to arrange the purchase of a car in Cleveland via a guy who works in Mexico and lives in Texas, I'd think it was a scam!!! ;) You'd hope that guys on this forum would be fair dinkum, so why don't you start by listing specs and price here. If someone seems genuinely interested, as Merv mentioned it would be easy enough for an SEQ local to help out with the logistics. |
Happy to help mate pm me ....
