Dimis I have a Classic Revival and have ordered a set of Vintage wheels with spinner centers.
I'm also shortening the rear end by 50mm each side (Mike Murphy mod)
I will post some pic's when the wheel finally show up
I had orded them before Xmas !!!!!!

Paul - how are you going with front offsets? Can vintage make a smaller front space wheel now?

Mando 03-05-2011 04:14 AM

Ptrefry, are your wheels coming from "Vintage Wheels" that advertise on Club Cobra? I don't understand what "Spinner Centers" are? Are they bolt on or pin drive?

Regards.

Hi Andrew they can now do just about any offset you like.
Finally got the adaptors today after a 2.5 month wait.
I think the wheels may show up Xmas 2020.

18" Wheels

Am looking at putting on 18" for the Daytona. This thread has so far identified the following wheels:

Vintage Wheels Inc

E-T Wheels (Team III)
American Racing
Dragway (DB51)
OZ Wheels
PS engineering (US)
Trigo (US)
Millaz (Oz)
Compomotive (UK)
Hawk (UK)

Question I have is - does anyone know if any of the manufacturers are produing 18" or are they at maximum with 17"

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned that dragway can make whatever you want, up to and byond 20". Not that I'd buy dragways, but at least the option is there.

Try Python auto in Melbourne I'm sure I saw them advertising 18" wheels a while back, sorry I don't have any contact details but I'm sure the Victoria based guys will have further info.

My Foose wheels are 18" and are in a similar style to the Halibrands, but not very traditional!

I found that if I worked with an Australian company, then I got exactly what I wanted and even used their expertise to ensure I had correct backspace/frontspace, etc. They can even mill the wheel to required specs. Some US wheels have limits that are less than what you might need. Having said that, the US products are much cheaper and look great.

I used a Dragway wheel and found their company very good to deal with. Dragway 131: http://www.dragway.com.au/index.php/....html?start=20
