Shelbyfest 2011..Passenger!!!
Well there was a little excitement for one competitor at Sundays event....
Jason (REPTYL) took a passenger for his first 2 runs!!!!!
According to J he felt something in his helmet behind his ear and figured it was just a small insect!!!!!...maybe be just a small spider so he wasn't to worried at the time and figured he would deal with it after his 2nd run!!!!
.....well.......He took off his helmet an guess what we saw???
Being from the country I've seen some decent Redback spiders and this compared to the biggest I've seen she was huge!!!! ...and Jason was WHITE !!!
...no doubt one of the great escape stories of the weekend..
OZ..:)

It was in there all day Saturday as well as Sunday (but I was wearing a balaclava on Sat.).
There were also 2 people that borrowed my helmet on Saturday for joy rides.
Luckly I had a spare balaclava for those guys.
The spiders body was about the size of my thumb nail.

I heard a story of a bloke that woke one morning weeks after finding a redback in his hat and there were hundreds of baby spiders that had hatched overnight...
Just saying. :JEKYLHYDE
