The house renovations and awardfs and nominations.. I know a few of you guys are renovating and building garages and adding on so... Type in above link and then... Enter site > Projects > extensions > Knight extension I was asked at the recent Cobra Nationals as to what I am up too and where I have been :confused: I know I have been rattling on about this, but I have just had contact from a company that are going to feature the renovation in a home repair renovation guide/ book. /% We have been living in the house now for over 3 years and have just finished the cinema room above the garage. The room shown on second level. We were nominated for a pool award and featured in their magazine and also nominated by our builder for an award. We feature in the building guide for the builder. Last years visit to Palm Spring to tour the Palm Springs Modern homes fired Anne and I both up to get the final painting and works done. So it is now all completed. Importantly it is all finished now and we are enjoying it. I have a few photos in my gallery as well if anyone is interested. Yes I know it is not car stuff.. :LOL: Well back to car stuff. I will have a few photos shortly of the GT40 upgrades.../% Guess you can see why cars have been on the back burner. |

Yes we grabbed this house from a 90 year old had had a great life with her husband in it. It had a good feeling and is very light and open plan. The architect who designed it studied under the Californian modern architects and understood Eichler etc. Anne and my trip to Palm Springs was to visit the inspiration of the house. To see the work of the leading architects in the modern design. |
