Read about this comp in the US Kit Car rag, results are not bad...let's hope they come to fruition.

Cheers

Hmmm the one that really appealed to me was outside the top group of winners. I liked the white car it had D Type Jaguar in 2011 all over it...:)

Nice... But it looks more rice-rocket rather than classic muscle.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Here's another factory five tip/rumour
One I haven't yet seen on the cc forum.

A WA gent named Chris has/is seting up shop.
Official supplier of complied & ADR aproved factory 5 kits
He has a few on the way for an intro price $45k?aud a pop
(I believe standard they'll be 60k?)

I can pm details.

For the record - I have no affiliation. Just "breaking the news" for those who might be interested

The Aus Factory Five Distributor is called Component Cars Australia. WA based.

They have an advert in the current issue of Unique Cars.

I see that the same issue of Unique Cars is trying to track down the Coke Cobras.

Factory Five will have a right hand drive available soon. They are also in the process of making an "Australian compliant" kit. The kit will be supplied with all of the required reports (beaming, torsional testing, fibreglass tests etc).

I met a guy during a breakfast run to Byfield a few weeks ago who owned one of the Coke cars for about 5 years. I think he said he sold it a few years back. I'll mention it to him via email.

At least there are some still around. Part of Cobra history in Australia.
