Using a photobucket account
Mando
At the risk of futher testing your computer abilities I too had the same dramas ages ago and was led to using photobucket as a repository for cobra and other pictures. I was able to navigate myself around the PB site easily enough so I think you too should be able to manage this. It is free and password protected and once in there posting pics is really simple. With a picture in photobucket you can then choose links that allow you to post into the forum threads at will. I'd have to talk you through one but happy to do so as I've plenty of time. I've ruptured an achilles and am sitting at home awaiting surgery and then the long recovery. I'll text you my home number and when you have free time give me a call. Ciao Steve |
Sorry Steve, I don't have text, I'm barred from receiving or sending text, I still have your mobile number from your last visit. I'll give you a ring in the next couple of days!
Regards. |
Make it before Friday!
Mando
You'll have to make it before Friday mate that's the day I go in for the chop!! Otherwise I'm probably off line for at least a week after that. Cheers Steve |
Ok, it's working now!

Thankyou !! :D

Photos sorted but what about the car
So Mando
We can now again see the beast but where is it at in terms of finalisation and rego? Steve |
So Hopalong, hows that leg of yours? I've got an appointment with motor vehicles on friday 26th of this month for my inspection. I've still got a short list of jobs to do such as fitting the dash crash pad and putting some black tape around the windscreen and gauges. The biggest job that needs to be done is to change the gear wheel to the wiper motor. At the moment the wipers only sweep about half way.
Hope all goes well with your surgery and recovery and hope to catch up next time your in town. Regards. |
Interesting requirements
Thanks Mando
Have to say the cast and crutches are already pissing me off and I don't go in for surgery until tomorrow! The next 6 or so weeks in going to be murder, let along the recovery post this phase. Just have to suck it in I guess. Now I noted you talked about blackening shiny bits, that ADR on reflective coatings was repealed even before I had finished my car so why is it an issue for your build? I'd press the engineer on this one. On the dash pad, I borrowed one for engineering but it fell off, though I have since permanently aquired the same one. My mate that I borrowed it off had to sell his cobra post divorce. As to the wipers, yes they do need to fully sweep though this is somewhat laughable in arid SA. But then you wouldn't want to be caught driving in rain with only a half sweep, for your own safety's sake! Just so long as you can get to the wiper and know what angle of sweep you need, the actual modification would be a piece of cake for your engineering contact. Hope you a travelling well. Cheers Steve |
Who needs wipers.

Since this thread was/is being monitored by mods...and that issue has been resolved...we'll close it now.
