Muscle Car Masters Eastern Creek
Guys, I'm coming up to Eastern Creek for the Muscle Car Masters this weekend. I have not been to a meeting there before. Anyone in the know tell me the best gate to enter and a good spot to sit?
Also if coming up the M7 do I use Horsley dr and Ferrers rd or go right up to Great Western Hwy? |
The Horsley dr, then Ferrers rd is the go from the ACT.
Last year they parked us in the Sydney Dragway pit area, so we entered the track from the pit entry side. We normally walk the track slowly during the day, but I like the turn 1/2 hill, although last year we also spent some time at the top of the grand stand. The top of the stand is pretty good because you can see most of the track from there - the cars sound really good from the stand as well. Kim |
Thanks Kimbo, So you can access the back of the track at turn 2/3 or 4/5?
Do they have dunny's etc back there, I'll have the kids with me and they'll want them every couple of hrs. |
The track has two entrances basically on opposite sides. The main entrance is near the grandstand on the main straight side, the other entrance is at the rear of the track (near turn 5) next to Sydney Dragway pits.
Unfortunately, the hill along turn 1/2 is probably the furthest point from the toilet facilities. If you would like to be closer to facilities, the grandstand (I think it is free) or somewhere in the second half of the track is the go. Kim |
