Does anyone have any tips on undoing knock on ?

What about something like this ??

Sarto Rocheleau - Torque your spinners on, don't beat them with a hammer Protect your investment! Use a Torque on & removal tool without a hammer.Front wheel with a Halibrand type spinner An original with wire wheels Â*

Aussie Mike probably has one in every colour.
He's got all the magic gear to make stuff like this.

I'm useless...I'd need to buy one from the website unfortunately.
Hope it helps,

Regards,
Warren.

You could try a dead blow hammer, but a lead hammer does work better.

Cheers

My MGA Twin Cam had a hammer with rolled leather on one side and brass on the other, from memory.

lead is best.

Hi guys after trying a few different types of hammer i found the lead to be the best as you dont have to try so hard to hit the wing which improves your accuracy plus if you miss it doesnt ding your rim I have 4 tips for knock ons allways use a lube paste like zinc or copper this stops the alloy gauling and making a mess of your rims. the other is dont over tighten them with a lead hammer you get it tight with a 3or 4 taps.
make sure you are hitting it the right way and that you have the correct thread direction right on the left and left on the right.

Wazza i have allready made you your lead hammer.
