What is more important?

To settle a "debate"
What would you value higher?
Either a lower lap time around Wakefield (by .37s)
Or the consistancy of a higher placing on the King Cobra point score? (including a trophy in 1 event - not wanting to say what trophy)

Was wanting to add a poll, but dont know how?

I think someone should insert a pole somewhere.

Tenrocca 10-18-2011 08:57 PM

I think it would depend somewhat on the extent one of the protagonists was talking themselves up before the event. A cripple fight regardless and not worthy of a thread taking up valuable internet space.....:)

If the pay off for the faster lap time is bragging rights and a trophy, what's the pay off for the slower lap time?

Aussie Mike 10-18-2011 10:28 PM

what's the pay off for the slower lap time?

Ummm.... Not going into the kitty litter? Less tyre wear? Is this a trick question?

I give up. What's the answer?

boxhead 10-18-2011 10:48 PM

The person with faster lap time, did not win a trophy (except a raffle) and he did have more "excursions" but due to consistancy (or lack there off) was lower on the King Cobra count.

The fella who did finish higher on King Cobra, did get a trophy (but slower fastest lap time)

not everyone enters events for trophies, and not everyone enters for faster lap times or points. so what?

David Hodgson 10-19-2011 02:04 PM

Sorry, read Dave's post wrong - I get it now. Read lower as slower
