302C rods needed - ship to Texas
Hello to my Aussie brothers in the Cobra community. I'm building a 351 Cleveland motor for a Mustang project I'm working on and the pistons I got from Probe need a 6" rod. I've called and sent email to Ausfordparts.com here in the states and I get no answer.
I thought perhaps someone in Australia might can get the rods I need or put me in contact with someone to purchase them from. I need 8 rods from a 302C engine. Caps and rods are all that's needed. Let me know what the price would be and shipment to the states, Houston, Texas 77092 to be more specific. The rods should be 6.030" overall length, .927" pin and 2.311" on the big end. Many Thanks, Curtis |
They will be 0.912" press fit pin bore as standard ford size...0.927" is Chev pin dia, I have used up all the stock I have so cant help , sorry.. Im sure some of the OZ boys will be able to help out

I have the Probe pistons that came with .927 pins, so I don't have much choice. Thanks! |
What a shame I didn't see this earlier. I'll be in Dallas Texas on Saturday.
Why are you set on stock 302 Cleveland rods? For the money it'd cost to resize them and put new bolts in and shipping from Australia you would be better of with some eagle H beam rods or similar. Cheers |
