302C rods needed - ship to Texas

Hello to my Aussie brothers in the Cobra community. I'm building a 351 Cleveland motor for a Mustang project I'm working on and the pistons I got from Probe need a 6" rod. I've called and sent email to Ausfordparts.com here in the states and I get no answer.

I thought perhaps someone in Australia might can get the rods I need or put me in contact with someone to purchase them from.

I need 8 rods from a 302C engine. Caps and rods are all that's needed. Let me know what the price would be and shipment to the states, Houston, Texas 77092 to be more specific.

The rods should be 6.030" overall length, .927" pin and 2.311" on the big end.

Many Thanks,
Curtis

That's fine as the pin size can be honed out on the small end of the rod.
I have the Probe pistons that came with .927 pins, so I don't have much choice. Thanks!

What a shame I didn't see this earlier. I'll be in Dallas Texas on Saturday.

Why are you set on stock 302 Cleveland rods? For the money it'd cost to resize them and put new bolts in and shipping from Australia you would be better of with some eagle H beam rods or similar.

Cheers

I've already bought the bolts and it's really just a standard 2V motor that I "thought" I got a great deal on a set of forged pistons. Eagle doesn't make the 6" rod in the 351C journal size of 2.311", just the chevy journal size of 2.1". We just discovered this issue after my machinist had the small end of my rods honed to fit the pins then we discovered the pistons are down in the hole 0.3". Didn't catch the specs on the "good deal" for the pistons until too late. My other thought would be early 351W rods at 5.95", but still a hair short.

Other ideas?? or time for another set of stock rods and standard style pistons?

I have a set of stock 351-W rods (5.95) you can have for the cost of shipping, but you get the pistons still on them.....I'm in Louisiana......
