Door seal end finishers
There was a thread a while ago asking for solutions to finish off pinch weld ends around door trims. After stumbling across two potential solutions today I thought I'd post the links. Curious to know whether anyone has fitted either of these. Sorry I couldn't find the old thread.

That was one I started Paul, and no I haven't had any success! Most things yield to a determination over time but not this one.
I bought some (like one in your pic above) from MG Heritage in Melb but to my disappointment they did not fit, despite some attempts to modify them. Baz had to have some specially made up from scratch at a fair cost i would think. Others have turned the pinch mould in through a hole in the door frame. The Europa one looks more promising. I was only the other day thinking go making up a mould and designing my own. |
I thought it was you Merv. When I get around to ordering my bumpers from Europa I might throw those end caps in the basket. Cheaper than half a tank of 98!
