It does need extra bits in the form of a box and suitably marked light, so above the offering. Too bad this wasn't around when I was building Nemo.

Wazza 12-14-2011 06:05 AM

I think Scott may have started this thread to sell some of HIS ?

Merv and Sharon 12-14-2011 01:52 PM

Thanks Scott. The ones I have don't do the flashing bit either.

Options

The seat belt timers also have the option of flashing or solid light .
just let me know at time of ordering.

Get a 555 timer IC from Jaycar and a few other minor components, Google timer circuits and make your own for about $10.

Brilliant!!!!
Way better idea than paying a whole $25-00 for the ones that Scotty is selling.

Some of us get enjoyment out of building as much of our cars as possible... and some don't.

Suppliers

Pecal, I think the point some of the fellas are making is that Ozvenom is a well known supplier/builder of many things cobra to the Cobra community and as he was the original poster, was offering some of "his" flasher kits for sale for anyone who needed them.

Certainly there may be other options out there as you have highlighted, but to post a comment about alternatives on the original posters selling topic is not the best way to go about things.

I feel embaressed for those two...

Modena 03-04-2013 05:22 AM

I don't feel embarassed, somebody else mentioned "the" alternative, I just posted the link while pointing out that the cost of said alternative is not all inclusive. I guess that reference was missed by most, humph.

Gav 03-04-2013 01:23 PM

I think you have missed the point that it is not good form to post a link to an alternative product on a thread that was started by someone else selling their product.
