Looking for a good price on Toyo R888s
I need 255X50X16.
Not all dealers can get that size in Australia
the best price I have so far is $462ea.
That sounds a bit rich to me.
I can get 245X45X16 for $350 but the OD is too small.

I was looking for 17" 888's the other day on eBay, 16's might be a different scenario though.

Try George Polly in the UK or Tyrerack and make sure you confirm the manufacture date before spending a cent.
A lot of the tyres on eBay could well be out of date.

I noticed that there were a lot of 2009 R888 tyres on the net.
Maybe this accounts for some of the cheaper prices listed.

I recently bought a set of Pirelli rossos 18 x 245 and 18 x 225. They were quoted best price at $2,210.00 in NSW. I got them for $1,300.00 delivered in 8 days (shipping and handling included)
