Boss 290 sump
Hi Everyone,
Gotta say, you lot have been so helpful and friendly with all questions and boy do I have a lot of those. I've got to replace the sump of my boss 290 since currently it sits on the floor when mounted. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get a shallow sump or even what I should be looking for? All help much appreciated. Adam. |
Hi Adam, have you looked at Milodon ? They do a whole range of sumps for Ford modular's, you can use the sumo off a 4.6 as its the same as the 5.4 and they do a whole range of stuff for them. Performance wholesale on Brizzie carry their stuff and they've been good to deal with ;)

Just a mention...I sussed low profile sumps for 351 Clevelands ...all the brands and their shortest ones were 8" .....the same dimensions as the standard one I eventually got one from Pavtek Racing in Vic....It was only a tiny bit shorter but had 'wings' to hold more oil.
