Club Cobra - Cheap starting point for a Cobra race car

Cobra race car body/chassis for sale, with HEAPS of extras.
...Or think of it as pretty much a complete car less engine, trans, diff centre, axles, wiring and fuel system.

The time has come to realise that I won't get my Cobra back together and onto a racetrack anytime soon, so I've decided to bite the bullet and sell it. It will make a cheap and cheerful race car for someone who is keen to install their own running gear and get amongst it. As it is an RMC "street" body, the doors still have the full side intrusion panels, etc, so it's not a featherweight. The chassis is a custom built chassis by Pro-Sport Engineering and it is effectively a copy of the RMC chassis so that it uses the same body mounting points. Ozvenom was instrumental in getting this car together in the first place.

This chassis has been used for off-street events but has not been engineered for road use, so the car is being sold for racing purposes only. While I would assume that the body and chassis and many components would meet requirements, the side pipes, steering column, switches, brake lines and other small bits would need to be changed if you were to aim for registration. Sorry that I couldn't advise you further about this aspect.

Most parts still installed, some in boxes. Car rolls, so can be easily loaded onto a trailer. Definitely not a show car, but would make a great basis for a fun, cheap and cheerful race car.

Paint is Glasurit 2 pack, which looks fabulous as the car drives by but it's no show car. There is a tiny bit of damage at the front from someone backing into it. Some stress lines in the bodywork. Front suspension geometry could use some work. Scrub radius was never right. I only ever had an overpowered motor and spool rear end, so I never really gave it a chance to work... Some pitting in brightwork. Bit of a ding in one of the sidepipe tubes. Not too noticeable, and doesn't affect performance.

Here's my lack of space issue...

Rather than replacing the missing parts and selling the car as a complete turn-key vehicle,
I want the buyer to get it for the right price and to have options for what direction they want the completed car to take.
Go with a Ford motor and use the chassis mounts and headers/sidepipes?
Fit an LS Chev for the light weight and the power gains and make the mounts and headers to suit? Lexus turbo? Coyote?

Asking price.... it's obviously cost me a truckload more, but if someone throws high teens at me I reckon we'd have a deal.
(Point of clarification - high teens means $17K to $19K, not drug affected teenagers...) If you don't want/need the radiator or wheels for example, we could play around with the price a bit more.
