Washer tank fab
With the wet weather we have had over the last few weeks i have had to take a break from some of the painting. I decided to fabricate a washer bottle out of sheet alloy. Good fun project and i am happy with the results.

I reckon that washer "tank" will probably hold enough water to wash the whole car with. ;)

Mando capacity is 1.5lts, so not that big. Polishing: filed all sides flat, sand with 180, 220, 400, 600, 800, 1200, 2000. Polish with white rouge, followed by autosol aluminium and then american racing wading. Still has fine scratches that i cant get rid of but i looks good anyway. |
