Bell top Filters
You about Mando????
Are these the filters that Steve is producing for his trumpet bell top. Hi Ozcobra, the filters I have do come from Steve at Morrisons. I don't know if you seen them but they are conected to the rear of the trumpet with a circlip. The foam is squashed between the stainless mesh you can see and another under the foam. It's an easy job to install the foam but takes quite a bit of time to complete each one.

Mando thanks mate,have you flow tested these at all against any other style
of filter??? It surprised me that Steve went with this style after conversations early on he said that this style of runner top generated alot of speed by the air being pulled over the bell top lip?? I thought these may be restrictive by the way they mount around the top??!! Cheers Paul |
Paul, I'm not 100% certain but if I remember correctly there wasn't a great deal of difference on the Dyno with or without the the filters!
