Shelby Fest 2013

Wondering who is going and when it is on?

I am keen to set my work calender and know when I need to book holidays.

Boxhead,

The tentative date is set fo the 22/23/24th March 2013.

We are just waiting for the V8 Supercars to finalsie their calendar so it can

be locked in.

The Australian F1 GP is set for the weekend before, this might be a

good option to catch both.

Who else is welcome and what spec's have to be met? I'm assuming dedicated race cars (BDR,VENOM,Harrison,ByDesign) are out? :CRY:

It's a regularity event for registered cars. There is real racing for cams log booked cars also. They had about 160 cars nominate for 50 spots. We were pretty lucky to all get in. Had to nominate & pay about $1400 upfront to be considered. Will be great to run at Bathurst again!

I see. Fair enough. I'm going through the cams log book stage now. Lots of hoops. Took me a while to get my cams national license but log booking is going to take even longer it would seem.

Are you planning on driving down or towing the cobra?

Hey Alffie, most likely towing.

DO you want to come along?

I will most likley head down the week before as I go to the Chrysler show at Albury the weekend before, then come home the Monday after ShelbyFest
So if your thinking about driving down, then if the worse should happen, and one car stops, it can go on the trailer, and tow the dead one home.
