Freight S.A to VIC???
Any suggestions for a good rate to ship a palletized engine from
SA (Blakeview Sth) to Melb?? Tried scragging through the threads here because I know some here have given a couple of good transport companies and there rates But I can't seem to nail the search!! Any help Appreciated!! OZ |
I have used transdirect.com.au for some ebay purchases. Was $150 for a pallet to Qld 170 x 50 x 50 and weighing 130kg's. They also have tail lift trucks but if you have lifting equipment then no issue, but then I had bobcat but they still sent a tail lift truck at no extra charge.
Found their service to be pretty good. used them a few times. They use either Allied Express or Toll depending on who's cheapest. |

Google E-Go and have a look at their electronic freight quoting and booking portal for Hunters Express. Courier, Parcel Delivery & Shipping Services in Australia:Same Day Delivery See if this link works first. I've now moved a few big items through them at reasonable prices and with no issues todate. Road freight depot to depot is the cheapest option but clearly you need to get the item delivered into a depot at the source and collect yourself. However they are pretty well spread with depot locations and can do collects at source too but that just adds to the cost. Good luck Slo |

I have used e-go for many items big and small and the price has been good.
Whilst I cant comment for an engine, I just has 4 X 18 inch wheels from Perth to Gold Coast depot to depot for $61-. left Perth on a Friday and arrived depot here on Wed. |
