Sounds great (when he's not bouncing it off the limiter...)

A newb question but does all that rev limiter bouncing do any damage? It can't be good a good thing, can it?

+Yeah isn't this drifting thing a waste of car, engine and tyres. I suspect an engine running at peak rpm then being 'shut off ' then fired back up only to go to peak rpm again doesn't do anything good to an engine....imagine the twist on the crank .

I thought that the rev limiters were all the same...mine works by " robbing" two cylinders at a time and all in a split second, and basically running on 6 cylinders until you drop the revs... Or at least stopping the revs getting any higher.
You never get used to the noise, the chosen cylinders backfiring on their next rotation...machine gun noise...and always sends your head into a spin for a second, thinking that the engine has shat itself.

And I thought I spent time on the limiter!

The limiter won't damage the engine, it is designed to save it.
