Has anyone out there in the community ever come across a king cobra bonnet??

I would be very interested in purchasing one if some one knows where one could be found

Thanks. Dave

Brucey does a nice job too.
I have one of his LeMans tops and was very happy with his product and service.

Kirkham have made them in alloy.

Is your big block motor going into a Cobra? Is it a street car? I haven't seen many Pro-Filer big cube motors running low enough compression for pump gas.

Pro filer engine is 630 cubes, and has 12.5 to 1 static comp. not used in cobra, fitted in 1970 mustang with shock tower mods and rrs front end. Don't know that the pro filer headed bbf would fit in cobra, heads are way tall. Anyhow I think it would be a little too much for a cobra. I have got a real good canted valve sc1 headed engine that fits ok, made 936 Ph on a superflo 901 dyno, and is probably a much better combo. Pro filer headed engines are generally, and this one not excluded, very big dollar engines.

Profiler, SC1 and P38. That's about the most impressive choice of engines I have ever seen!!!

Never mind that the Profiler in the Mustang with the trick RRS front end sounds like my dream Mustang, even the SC1 heads are serious pieces. Edelbrock have kinda redefined the meaning of HIGH-PORT heads with those monsters! I believe that RFD are at around 500cfm with them. Insane!

I thought the idea of putting my 860hp small block in my 2800lb Mercury Comet with plans of driving it to work every day is a bit left field. Compared to your combinations, my car will be a completely rational and sane option!
