Oil Cooler
Hey all, hope it is a simple one to answer.
What is the correct height oil cooler? 9 row or 13 row? I want it to sit correct in cooler opening, so the top does not protrude too high into the radiator opening. My car is a Classic Revival if it makes a difference. |
Anothert question.
What is more correct? BSP fittings with the sharp 90 degree bend like following pic. http://csxinfo.net/427cobra/csx4241/...res%20049a.jpg Or the curve as used in AN style fittings? http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6014/5...38c54281_z.jpg Thanks again. |
The curved AN fittings flow better so I went with them. A lot easier to undo than taper threads and you don't need any sealer on the fittings.

Hi Dave,
I have an 11 row Derale Oil Cooler with curved fittings. Works really well. I also love those thermo fans. What's the current situation with your Billboard's. Have they arrived yet? Baz |
Billboards are on the boat, should be in Adelaide late this week I think.
I have chatted with another member and bought a Mocal Cooler from Summit, as well as some -10 hose Fittings I will buy from local supplier (I sold some smelly Valiant stuff on eBay, so had money sitting in PayPal) |
