Non-CC build thread

Tom Kirkham posted a link to a technical artice on ignition/spark advance on a website called Classic Inlines

I don't think it is possible to have grown up in AU without having had at least one classic inline six, and I'm no different - so I spent a bit of time looking around and found a build thread that I thought was worth sharing...

Gav's talk of a 'Taxi Engine' was obviously inspiring...

John the 70 year old is a magician on any metal working machine you want to name. He is a master of adaptation and innovation (great qualities in a remote location such as Darwin). The 350 build is a great thread on its own. Nothing around that this man can not put his hand to, not bad for a bloke that drove road trains in the never never full of cattle. Has he got some stories to tell! He should write a book. The guy is a legend.
