That's not a Cobra no matter how you slice it. Not too sure what it is.
Next thing you know they will be calling a ford falcon a Cobra.

Gav 08-31-2013 10:14 PM

They are called a 'SC 540'
Kind of a cobra with all the mod cons'.
Pretty quick on the track too!

darkside 08-31-2013 10:17 PM

shouldn't associate it with the name "cobra".as bad as ford associating the last bf2 4door gt with blue stripes a cobra...doc

Ford Shelby Cobra Concept Photos - 2004 Detroit Auto Show - Motor Trend

And they're as "real" as any other replica....nice car....
Looks like Warren Basset's car....(Lives in Fernvale , near Ipswich, Qld)

Was that picture taken in Queensland?

Cheers,
Warren

May also want to edd-u-ma-cate yourself with watching the rides episode which shows CS involvement and endorsement as a modern day version of the cobra.

I have the Movie Ford made on this Cobra, it had a V-10 with trumpets, awesome car, awesome engine from Ford. Ford never produced it, and when I talked to the head engineer of the project for Ford he said, "a V-10 never really belonged in a Cobra"...... Cool car...

That's my Concept Cobra. My wife and I were in Aunties having breakfast(was more like brunch)as well.

Warren

Looks cool. Not crazy about the color

Mother 09-02-2013 09:29 AM

Mr. Bray
With a stacked V10 under the bonnett, your personal tastes about colour of the body is, interesting. I'd be more interested in knowing the front to rear ratio of the weight split. Not to mention the make, type material composite of the rottors.

Call me crazy if you like, but I really like seeing different things done with cobras. From what I've read, CS was all for thinking outside the box and being innovative. So IMO a car that breaks the mould is every bit as much of a tribute to the concept as yet another carbon copy of the original.

I like it :)

I agree.

Its worth taking the time (and cost) to go to Vegas and visit the Shelby factory and see the museum cars that are on display and different things that ol Shel' had his hand in.

We have been about 5 times and every time there are new and different examples there along with some of the same ol favorites.

fordracing65 09-03-2013 02:35 AM

Just watched the RIDES movie again, the car was codenamed at Ford, DAISY:LOL:... Love that car...
