60-65mm dia 'stop/park/indicator' lights?
I purchased a set of 'Cobra' lights (similar to those on Snakebite) but I now find that at 80mm dia they are too big for the front mount on the GTO. I wonder if anyone knows the source of 60-65mm lights. I'll try some of the Austin/Morris spare retailers but does anyone know offhand?
They will need to have the 'E' marking. |
Not sure if this will help but the Lucas L594 has the following specs and is a glass lens and definitely "E" marked
Glass Lens Outer Diameter: 2 3/8" (60.3 mm), Glass Height: 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) Rubber Boot Outer Lip Diameter 2 7/8" (73 mm), Boot Smaller Outer Diameter 1 5/16" (33.3 mm), Boot Depth 2 1/8" (54 mm) The L488 is about the same size as well 72mm diameter rubber base with 54mm diameter flat glass lens and best lead I can offer is this - but not cheap! http://www.zip-corvette.com/ProductD...GR-SR&CTitle=& Matt |
What about Land Rover units?

Thanks Matt - Unfortunately the Lucas 594 are too big.
These come in Clear, Amber and Red and the lens is 50mm dia. I might see if they are 'E' marked. Can they be plastic and 'E' marked? Front Marker Side Lights 5Watt OR Reversing Lights 12volt Durite Clear Round | eBay Geoff - Land Rover 'Defender' are 73mm Why do projects get bogged down with trivial stuff like this? Arrrr... |
