If it could be registered in Australia, the price is very fair!

We pay a premium for everything here!

Very cool chassis number too!

The owner of this car made contact with me last year wondering how I got mine registered ?

It's all in the US DMV records back then, but that's all changed!

There must be a few that have missed the boat on getting them registered in Australia , no doubt they will start showing up sooner or later.

Nice car .

Soul.

I will give you that but if that is the "tax" to bring a Cobra there I guess I would have to buy the country to bring my Ford GT (plus the 50K+ conversion to right hand drive. We had thought about it but decided that they probably wouldn't take us anyway since we are now retired.

My wife was offered a teaching job in Australia in 1974. We talked about going over there. It was her choice totally. I could have found a job in the computer industry anywhere then. She decided she didn't want to get too far away from family. I still kick myself in the butt I didn't try to talk her into it more.

A 150k US $ car in the States becomes 250k Aus $ in Australia very quickly and then there's all the compliance crap in Australia that you guys in the States take for granted!

Still a beautiful place to visit though and it's never too late !

It's just a pity we have caught up with the rest of of the world with all the self indulgent political crap!

Apart from that and the premium we pay for everything , we are indeed still the lucky country!

On the other hand, Tony, if you're bringing in your OWN car it is much easier.

But let's not repeat all that on this thread :-)
