What amp fuse?

Took the cobra for a drive the other day and a bit of plastic fell on my foot. Didn't make any thing of it.......till a couple of days later I noticed the override switch for the thematic fan was not working. When I check under dash just the 2 metal contacts were left in fuse block for the fan switch. Question is what amp fuse should I replace it with? Thinking of starting with 15 amp and working up. Wiring seems okay and can't see any shorts.

Depends on the fan. What brand and size is it? If you go to the manufacturers website you will find the amp rating. Otherwise work out from the number of watts.

only part of fuse was 2 metal contacts sticking out of fuse block....all the plastic was gone.

Then follow all the above

It'd be wise to run a separate hard wire to the fan with a circuit breaker / and fused relay
I have the same problem and one day I'll get around to doing something about it:LOL:

Found the problem.....a short. Keeps blowing 25amp fuse. Will take it back to elec who adjusted temp the fan was coming on at. At least it was coming on then.

Found problem.......a couple loose connections and a underrated 15 amp fuse on 25-30 amp circuit. Seems to be okay now. Pity it is raining again. Suppose that is the biggest problem in the tropics.
