Rarer than...?

That looks rather pleasant doesn't it. In fact I think I'm getting a bit of a chub.:JEKYLHYDE

somebody ought to take a mould of one and turn it into a kit car :-)

This is the older sister of the 250 GT equivalent that raced against the Cobras I am guessing.

At Goodwood there were 30 of those 250's and most went out to race door handle to door handle, admittedly under current and past F1 driver's hands in the main. Plus the owners - doh!.

Not bad considering these 250's were valued at 10 million quid each!!!

Anyone want to guess what a three car only special is likely to go for at auction?

Just wish I had that sort of money to spend on this beauty!

I also see this little beast is in the same auction.

Don't look now, its Italian craftsmanship is showing :JEKYLHYDE

I think you are confusing Italian 'style' and 'craftsmanship'.

Those restoring early Ferraris find it very difficult to replicate the original 'bird****' welds!

dam auto spell checker :-) I hope your cobra's not going moldy:-)

PeterAllen 08-03-2014 08:47 AM

English 'mould' is correct. Only in the US is 'mold' used.

dave295 08-03-2014 03:20 PM

And there I was thinking;
mould grows on a Cobra, and
make a mold of a car.
MY BAD! Sorry.

So, it was just a joke of making a mould of a car as opposed to having mould on your car, which is a common problem when you live in the tropics.

On the bright side at least I don't have to fit a demister on the car for Northern Territory rego providing there is no provision for a roof.
