Vintage Wheels Rears wanted
G;day Fellas;
Due to me buggering up my rear offsets a little I was wondering if anyone here may be looking to unload 2 rear Vintage Wheels 427 Halibrand style 17x9.5 rims. They are the 5 lug on a 4.75"PCD from Vintage wheels in the US. I love what I have but I think the legal and insurance issues with some bolt on adaptors to bring them out another inch here in Victoria is an issue, as surprise, surprise, I cant get a clear answer as yet. I will check my backspace but I'm sure they are currently 4.5", so I need another inch toward the guard, so say 3.5" Backspace. I just need the rims, have everything else. But am open to any proposals people have they think may suffice. Its a long shot, but worth an ask. Cheers Chris L |
Chris contact Paul at Roaring Forties, they are the Aussie distributor for vintage wheels and they supply their cars as fully road legal with Vintage wheels and knock-offs. He will be able to tell you what's legal in Vic.

Thanks RFGT40, have had a response from Paul who cleared it all up for me, it will be another set of wheels if it bugs me that bad..............
Adaptors are ok, if they were specified in the build as original equipment and thus the car was engineered and registered with them, mine wasn't. Cheers Chris L |
