Harrison battery location
Where are all you Harrison owners putting/locating your battery ?
I'd rather not hang it out the front in the engine bay if I can help it, so........?? |
Driver's side.. back corner of the boot/rear of guard...and the kill switch is there too.

I have mine in front of the passenger's footwell. Access is a little tricky - I have cut a panel in the LF wheel arch and need to remove the LF wheel to change the battery. It fills the space nicely. Geof |

Same as Wazza only passenger side.
I run #3 earth cable directly to the block and also to the chassis and a #3 positive cable direct to the starter both tucked up in the transmission tunnel. I was told to give high priority to really good earths, don't rely on just an earth connection to the chassis, it can cause all sorts of gremlins to ECU and other electrical components. I had a tray made up that bolts thru the fibreglass then brackets to hold the battery tight. Triple check this as my battery got loose on the track and now there's a couple of nice stars in the guard :-( I think I'm not the first to have this happen! |

I've got an RMC...similar....I made a small frame that's welded to the left rear of the chassis. It supports the battery in the rear left guard . Access through a door in the boot. Removal through a door in the wheel well.

Mine is bolted to the passenger side in the boot as I figured that would help balance my weight on the driver's side. Plus I have the fuel filler neck on the driver's side.
