Qld to NSW transfer
Can anyone enlighten me on the engineering requirements for rego transfer for a Qld car to NSW?
The RMS website doesn't help on detail, only that you need an approved engineer, which I know. Do all vehicles need an IM240 test? To save a few phonecalls, can anyone recommend an engineer close to the city that is ICV experienced (that list on the RMS website s pretty long) Thanks |
Yes you need an IM240.
I'm not near the city but I'm very ICV experienced. Plus I know my way around a Dax Rush, as well as cobras. Treeve |

Hi Greg,
I completed this cross border transfer a year ago. All the same tests are required as a newly built ICV - brake test, lane change, noise, emissions, meeting adrs etc. with a RMS panel engineer required for sign off. Any questions happy to help. |
