Don and Craig - what a great story!
OK, some might say it's 'only a car', but some cars really are special and are associated with so many good memories; they really do become part of a family.
Craig, to find the car and to be able to secure it and return it to Don is a very great thing to do.

Cheers!
Glen

Apparently it was the chap's intention to gather one of each model of Austin Healey and TR, and there were also one or two early E-types in his collection. The cars were to be driven sparingly and more or less kept as museum pieces but as far as I know they were never displayed, just covered up and left, fortunately in two large dry and airy sheds. Mine allegedly was never driven after it left me and the registration was allowed to lapse.

The car is driveable now but it is in need of a good tune-up, no surprise as these tri-carb models were notoriously difficult to keep in tune, and no doubt as we put more kilometres on her further little niggles will become apparent. I suppose anyone woken up after being asleep for thirty six years has the right to feel a little cranky, but it's good that she's out in the fresh spring air and sunshine again.
