The tyres I am looking at are NItto Nt01, does anybody have any feed back on these tyres.

I am also going to do an advance driving course, I have read about John Bowe's course has anybody tried anyone else in Melbourne.

Thanks

Rod

Pretty sure they are a same compound as the R888 (read that somewhere) and nitto is owned by toyo. They are a proper R spec which is a step up from your KU36\NT05 etc

Rod I'd mentioned earlier on another forum topic that unfortunately the NT01's are only completely street legal in NT, WA and SA. They are deemed a competition tyre only in NSW, VIC and QLD due to there being no traditional load rating printed on the sidewall.

This is from Nitto Australia direct to me via email. There are retail sellers who will still sell them to you to use as a street tyre but the reputable ones won't.

Thanks Spookypt

I guess that counts them out.

I will have to keep searching for some KU36s then.

Thanks again for the heads up.

All good Rod that's what this forums all about.

What actual sizes are you after again?

As u know the NT05 isn't a true r spec. AO48 and the latter AO50 are a great tyre by expensive ish. Falken make a RT615 which are like the NT05 so no good either.

We could probably fit 343s in there with some creative machining. :p Managed to squeeze them inside my 17" fronts. Probably overkill though.

Cheers

I've got 375mm rotors inside 17" rims..... But not on the Cobra, only 343mm under her.
