you must mean sa as in south australia not south africa we allow chevs with autos lol have to lose the carby tho

What's the issue with carby's, don't you like them or does it have to do with emissions?

we love them but they dont meet current emissions even after market fuel injection can be a problem in some states .in my case i am going to use standard ecu and injection from my donor car and it should sal thru hopefully..

One option that hasn't been aired is try the Personal Import approval route. We had a member here granted exemptions from some requirements as the car had been built overseas.
There is no guarantee either way but if it was me I would put as much as possible together and ship it as a car and with import approval worry about rego when you got here.
