Rob, it had a lift off front but was otherwise a standard RMC shape.

I run an M800 in my GT40 and there is no ignition expander in there but I am running Hyundai coils banked together, so four sets of (2) coil out puts and then the Motec fires in a sequential order when the Sync/Ref sensors are correlated, and it is set up as a wasted spark so will obviously fire every 180deg of rotation..
So 4 outputs are sufficient i.e. fire 1,6 // 3,5 // 7,4 // 2,8 for a windsor set up Hope that makes sense. Also I could send you some base maps if you are interested, I have a few of them saved in my laptop. Wil |
Thanks for the info Wil - all makes sense. I wasn't aware of the Hyundai coils being an option. I guess it wouldn't be a surprise if their part number cross references to other manufacturers.
Thanks for the offer of the base maps, but the engine is already tuned so I'll just need to have the CRIP value tweaked and I'm good to go. |
