door locks / solenoids

Chasing door locks and solenoids as part of the ADR complaint build.

I have a set of Eberhard 400 series, which are (US) FMVSS compliant, a standard which is equivalent to the ADR via the EU requirement on which both sets of testing requirements are based.

In the US, Dakota Digital seem to be the popular choice for a solenoid / remotes kit.. any advice on the preferred brand/s or suppliers in Aus would be appreciated.

Alternately, was also looking (on a needle in a haystack basis) for an OE door lock with integrated actuator... The commodore VT / VZ series looked promising as did the Toyota Camry.. although I'd need to get a hold of one to test fit.

Any of the Pace tragics aware of the components used in their cars..?

Look forward to any (relevant) thoughts..

With thanks

Chris

Go to a few wreckers...Once you tell them what you want them for they go mad. They go out of their way to help. ( if they don't ..leave immediately..they don't care and will sell you anything) The keen ones, mostly, will lend you the part to try. You've got to come back to buy the other one .
