Albany Classic race meet
Entered the Albany Classic race meet on the weekend. Had 4 races and a practice session. Won event 4 so was happy. The car ran strong all day, broke my gearbox mount in the last race and near on ran out of fuel...6.8l likes juice..
If i got a dollar for every time I was asked "Where do i get one" "Who's kit and how much" I'de be racing for free.....Hope Roaring Forties enjoy the exposure they got. Not sure the gearbox will survive the abuse from the 414 cubes for too long though. I assume Julian had a good run as well. Glad you got better weather in Albany than we did up in Perth. |
Jules and I had a ball. Got a good video where we swap over in car shots as we let each other past....will post soon.....some bloody powerful cars out there.
