High CCA Battery Options
Gday people
Can you good folk recommend a good battery for a highish compression motor. Running 11;1, 331 Windsor and although it has just been started , the regular heavy duty battery is dying quickly cranking it. Looking for something better. Cheers Chris L |
I used an optima in the Cobra.
It is now in the 911 and still going strong. |

Am running an Odyssey PC925, 330 CCA which is fine for the 5L Windsor and quite a small sized battery for its punch. These are a sealed and can be mounted in any configuration except inverted, so on their sides if needed for space reasons. They do a large range of other models with even higher cold cranking and pulse crank ratings as per the link below. Extreme Series Battery Specifications Cheers |
