my cobra
Things are moveing in the right diection for me and my car.
I have the rear suspension diff assy from an au2 xr8 lsd with abs sensors. today i picked up a gen3 engine at the right price ;) and i will be pulling it apart to rebuild and modify this weekend. Going to Sydney in june to check out Ian's cars and place my order. :) :) :) :) :) :) |
What sort of internal mods are you doing to the LS1? Are you using ABS, or do you want to use the sensors for traction control?
|
That's good news David. Let me know when you are going to visit Ian. I might be in Sydney at the same time.
Cheers |
What mods?
I am looking at fitting a 383 stroker crank with new rods and
keith black pistons from c.o.m.e, also looking into modified heads from pavtec. I was looking at spending $7500 for a crate motor so i may as well spend this money on modifications I would like to fit abs and traction control but will decide on these whilst building the car. I will be in Sydney between 21 june till 25 june. Would be great to catch up if your in Sydney at that time Mike, otherwise i will probably see you in december when i am trailering the car to Alice Springs. If i have a gearbox by then i will bring it with me and maybe you could show me what you did to change the shifter location? |
